Torino, Italia
Black Friday?
Good morning shoppers, well today is the last day of Back Friday, which began two weeks ago here in Italy. The concept of starting the day after Thanksgiving is lost without Thanksgiving. However, since we aren’t out buying anything, it really doesn’t matter to us.
George returns to Kansas City today. Pietro left with him about 11. Mary and I stayed until Serra finished up her Italian less. I trotted off to McDonalds for lunch, and then returned to the apartment. I tried taking a nap, but had no luck.
I am working on confirming everything for Africa now that Stuart and Chrissy aren’t going to be attending. It really doesn’t change anything apparently, but I still want to get all that in writing. Still don’t have confirmation from Stuart if they will be going to Morocco or not. Probably not.
This plays into what we will be doing in spring after Morocco. We had talked about going to Prague for a couple of days, but Prague has a low of 11 and a high of 15 (in the 50’s F), so may not. Of course Torino will be about the same.
I think Mike and Maddie will be on tour in France….. maybe we can get together with them at the end of their trip??? We will have to wait and see, they don’t have precise dates or itinerary yet.
Tomorrow we are going to the Christmas Market in Aosta. Planning on lunch with Giulia and family.
